Maybe just a day off? Corrado-Tanev is a weird pairing, both young righties and I doubt they'd ever be paired together during the season. I actually hope Alberts has another bad game and/or takes another stupid penalty. Might seal his fate, or at least keep him in the doghouse during the season.

Alberts can go on waivers, but we do need depth on defence due to future injuries.

With the good news comes the bad as the update on center Jordan Schroeder and his injured foot isn’t so good. Tortorella says he’ll miss three weeks with a non-displaced hairline fracture in his foot. I thought it was hilarious when Torts basically said he didnt trust the xray done in edmonton...but I guess he was right

I thought Andersson looked good in pre-season

he played so well, he'll be starter for utica...he hasnt outplayed lack...the goaltenders cant put the puck in the net (usually)

The Fiddler Bieksa impression was pretty funny.

I forget who suggested (maybe it was Fosco) picking him up on waivers should it ever occur; but Bob Mackenzie said on the TEAM1040 this afternoon that Jim O'Brien is on waivers today. Would be a good pick up for the 4-line.
